Boyertown Area Multi-Service (BAMS)
For over 50 years, Boyertown Area Multi-Service has been a cornerstone of support for individuals and families throughout the Boyertown area and surrounding communities.
BAMS provides services including:
Preston's Food Pantry, offering groceries and holiday meals to families facing food insecurity.
Meals on Wheels, delivering nutritious meals to homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities, helping them remain independent in their own homes.
Case Management Services, assisting individuals and families with financial hardships, housing concerns, utility assistance, referrals, and access to community resources.
The Center at Spring Street (Active Adult Center), providing nutritious lunches, health and wellness activities, educational programs, social engagement opportunities, recreation, and transportation services for adults age 55 and older.
Community Outreach and Emergency Assistance, helping individuals navigate life's unexpected challenges and connect with critical support services.
BAMS serves as a safety net for the community by addressing hunger, isolation, financial hardship, and barriers to self-sufficiency while fostering hope, dignity, and opportunity for those in need.
Richard J. Ricketts Community Center, operated by BAMS, is a vibrant community hub dedicated to youth development, family engagement, recreation, education, and wellness in the Pottstown area. It provides a safe, welcoming environment where young people and families can learn, grow, and build positive relationships.
